Wherever do I begin…. Laura is beyond amazing!! As a widow I had a journey not just for myself but so did my daughters. I was blessed to fall in love and remarry a man that not only I dreamed of but so did my daughters! My daughters is not apart of my vocabulary anymore they are our daughters!! A part of the step parent adoption process was unique is that one of our daughters is an adult, another caveat is that our children where not born in this state. Laura jumped right in! She wasn’t afraid of all the curve balls I was throwing at her. Heck they even changed adoption laws in the middle of our waiting period. Laura was attentive, fast, stayed knowledgeable on changing laws, prepared, dedicated, and most of all loving. The day of our finalization there wasn’t a dry eye in the court room (everyone the judge to families in there fighting all stopped for a moment and rejoiced with us)! Laura will always hold a very special in our heart and she continues to watch our family flourish not as an attorney, but as a friend.

I discovered Laura Vale, attorney, from a website search. I wanted someone local that would take my call quickly and she fit the bill. She was energetic, kind, and made us feel very comfortable as She created, for my elderly father, a will, power of attorney, & DNR. Laura is a total pro. She stepped in to help my family with a probate matter when a different lawyer was unable to handle the administrative complexity of our case. In my humble opinion, Laura is absolutely the best lawyer to work with!! Being an out-of-state client, I interviewed a handful of probate/estate lawyers over the phone and found them to be knowledgeable, but more robotic in their process. I felt that they were just paper-pushers looking for a check. Anyone who has lost a love one, my condolences. It can be a very busy and difficult time. Especially if you're, like myself it just seemed to happen all at the wrong moment. I was totally unprepared and left with much to do. I firstly needed to take care of all the things required for a love one that is no longer here in Texas and that included my mother's estate and here in Texas there is much to do in a short time. I reached out to Attorney Ms. Laura Vale, she was quick and efficient, besides that I was a bit stressed at getting things accomplished, so I could fulfill my mother's wishes. Ms.Laura was able to streamline everything to the court and process my SMALL ESTATE AFFIDAVIT. Her fees were upfront and reasonable with no hidden cost. She was always available, not her paralegal, or secretary answering questions. Questions come up with legal proceedings and businesses; like banks. Mom did not have a written WILL. Ms. Laura is a professional attorney with her help, I was able excute my mother's Estate and tie up the lose ends, receiving her death certificate, so that I could have her removed from the Bexar Medical Examiners office to the funeral home. I was able to access funds that were in my mother's bank account without a long drawn out hassle. This really made the burden a lot easier to bear. I am so grateful for finding such a kind, caring, and professional person in my time of need. I would highly recommend anyone to give her your time. My situation was very difficult, as I work nights.
